An exceptional use of heavy sounds on the beat department, coupled with lush and clever synth programming based on the purest Detroit techno sound. 'Aliens Ate My Cat' presents a more quirky sound than the one you are used to listen from Sascha. 'Planetary Boundaires' and 'Red' are two masterpieces of what you are used to: driving beats with heavy melody sections. Without breaking any rules these three tracks at first listen could make you think they were produced by legends like Juan, Kevin, or even Carl. A more crunchier but not less groovy remix from swedish producer and techno veteran Mattias Fridell has been made for 'Aliens Ate My Cat'. A certain belief that extraterrestrial beings copy their behaviour on personality traits from the fictional tv series character 'ALF', is based on the physics of microwaves travelling in the vacuum of space and being picked up by intelligent lifeforms of neighbouring star systems. But for Sascha Zastiral, his belief is based on an incident with his feline pet: "Aliens Ate My Cat" said the Detroit techno producer while transmitting the three tracks into space with his latest antenna setup.
